Ronald Whittingham
78, of Michigan City and formerly Lake Eliza, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023.
He is survived by his wife, Dee; children, Rhonda (Brian) Ellsworth of MI, Ronald, Jeff (Hannah) Beird of TX and Scott (Lisa) Beird of Hebron; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Dale, Candy Dexter and Wayne (Cara), all of KY, Sherry (Gary) Goodson of Hebron and Ricky (Tammy) of FL, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Mike Beird; parents Ronald and Terry; brothers, Terry and Woody.
Ron was a USAF Veteran, enlisted for 10 years then serving in the reserves for 20 years. He had been a volunteer with the Lake Eliza Fire Department and involved with many other organizations before becoming disabled.
Visitation Friday, January 13 from 2-5, Concluding with Funeral Services at 5 PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell. Cremation will follow services.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the American Kidney Foundation.
