62, of Lake Village, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 25, 2018. He is survived by daughters, Cari (Kyle) Gard of Lowell and Dawn (Ricky) Piskoty of Cedar Lake; grandchildren, Nathan and Payton Gard; siblings, Diane (Jayme) Hibbs of Lake Village, Dale (Candy) Dexter and Martin Dexter of KY, niece Crystal Dvorak and nephew Josh Schwamberger. He was preceded in death by his wife Tina and parents James Dexter and Clara (Bertram) Newell. Ed was a Carpenter with Local #272. He had a great love for horses and was once an active member of the Lake County Saddle Club. Cremation will take place with Memorial Services to be held at a later date.
