90, of Cedar Lake, IN, formerly of Plainfield, IL, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; children, Betty (Jeff) Mikula, Shirl (Michael) Sochacki, Kenneth (Cindy), David (Candi); grandchildren, Justin, Kevin, Jeff (Maria), Kristen, Jeremey, Shauna (Richard), Tiffany, Catherine, Brianna; great grandchildren, Steven, Landen, Stella; sister, Dorothy Roseboom. Preceded in death by numerous siblings. Joe was a Korean War veteran, member of the American Legion and retired from International Paper after 30+ years. Visitation, Friday, August 9th from 4-8PM, at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E. Commercial Ave, Lowell, IN.
