Mary Rudick Obituary

Mary E. Rudick, age 94 of Merrillville, Indiana formerly of McCrory, Arkansas, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019. She was born on January 25, 1924 to Wright Walker and Idella Hembree. She is survived by her three grandchildren, Michael (Katie Ross) Rudick, of Colorado, Brian Rudick, of Indiana and Heather Crosser of Indiana; two great grandchildren, Mitch (Skyler) Shadwell of North Carolina and Miranda Rudick of Colorado; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Calvin C. Rudick; one son Roland Rudick; one daughter Phyllis Nolan.

Mrs. Rudick was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Griffith, IN. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed quilting, gardening, volunteering and music. Her kind spirit and gentle soul will be missed by many.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with service to follow on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Woodman Cemetery, all is McCrory, AR.
