103, of Valparaiso, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018. She is survived by her daughter, Connie; grandchildren, Karen Breezley, Eileen (Terry) Thompson, Lorrie Dammarell, Michael Rivera and Bruce (Paula) Rivera; 13 great grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ivan “Bud”; infant son Harold; grandson Kenneth Rivera; 2 great grandchildren and her siblings. Sylvia and Bud were former owners of Green Mill Tavern, a Mobile Home Park and several other businesses in New Chicago. Cremation will precede Private Memorial Services at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell with Burial in Lowell Memorial Cemetery. www.sheetsfuneral.com
