Betty J. Wietbrock
86, of Lowell, IN, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025. She is survived by her children, Wendy (Rick) Eisman and Steven; grandsons, Eric (Niki) Ellis and Brandon Wietbrock; 4 great grandchildren, Alexis, Madison, Connor and Meadow; siblings, Mary Lou Denton, Lee and Alan Albery.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Vernon; and her parents, Lewis and Mary Albery.
Betty was a graduate of Lowell High School. She married Vernon in 1956. She was the manager of The Davis Store in Lowell for 43 years. It was there that she did alterations for many customers. She also designed the store’s display windows, which she received many awards. Betty was an expert seamstress. She made many bridal and bridesmaid dresses over the years and also did tailoring for The Toggery in Lowell.
Betty lived at Two Hearts Homes for Seniors in Lowell for the past 2 years and considered the staff and residents her friends.
