Carl Lee Palko

70, of Lake Village, Indiana, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026.

Carl was born on June 4, 1956, in East Chicago, Indiana, and was raised in Whiting, where he attended George Rogers Clark High School. He was a hardworking and devoted man who took great pride in providing for his family and living a life built on honesty, dedication, and kindness.

Carl retired from Unilever in 2013 after many years of faithful service. Following his retirement, he continued working at Rose Acre Farms, where he enjoyed staying active and forming friendships with his coworkers.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Edith Palko; his brother, John Palko; and his step-son, Michael Wright.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 39 years, Chrystal Palko; his sister, Teresa Palko; his brother, Rick Palko; his daughter, Megan Palko; his step-daughters Amanda Baxter, Jessica Roland; his cherished grandchildren, Olivia, Robert, Abigail, Brodie, Carson, and Quinn; along with many extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives were blessed by knowing him.

Carl will be remembered for his unwavering work ethic, his quiet strength, his gentle heart, and his love for his family. Whether on the golf course, at the bowling alley, spending time with his dogs, or simply enjoying the company of those he loved, Carl found joy in the moments that mattered most. His kindness, humility, and steadfast presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
