Carl “Scooter” Simmons IV

37, of Crown Point, IN passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026. He is survived by his parents, Carl Simmons III and Cindi (Larry) Brookshire; siblings, Samantha Dickens, Patrick Simmons, Brianna Tellez, Tommy Reynolds; nieces and nephews, Rylie, Gavin, Harper, Rowyn, Halen, Hazel, Aiyana; grandmother, Arema Hinkle. Preceded in death by his uncle, Russell Simmons. Carl was a member of the Slackers Car Club and was voted NWI’s Best Bartender at Tavern on Main. Scooter was loved by everybody and will be greatly missed. The family has asked for you to leave your fondest memory of Scooter here on his tribute page. Visitation, Saturday, January 31st from 2-6PM with Funeral Service at 6PM all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E Commercial Ave, Lowell, IN 46356. Cremation will follow his services.
