Carol Campbell 

78, of Shelby, IN passed away Sunday, August 16, 2026. She is survived by her husband, Jeff; daughter, Teri (Kevin Rench) Campbell and granddaughter, Morgan Campbell. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Tracy and Toni Campbell; parents, Vertrees and Neva Rainwater; siblings, Brent and Kathy Rainwater. Carol worked for the Shelby Post Office for over 20 years as the Postmaster Relief; was a previous member of the Shelby Lions Club and was very involved in the Compassionate Friends group, where she was a Chapter Leader for many years. She also enjoyed crocheting, reading with her book club at the Shelby Library, and was a fan of women’s basketball and the Chicago Bears. Carol was a caring woman who loved her family and her many “adopted grandchildren”. Private Cremation was entrusted to Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Lowell, IN. Memorial Contributions may be made to Compassionate Friends.
