Carol Vanderjack

86, of Lowell, IN, passed away Monday, February 23, 2026.  She is survived by her husband Ted; children, Lisa Koehn of Hebron, Jeff of IL, Mark of Morocco, Scott (Maria) of Valparaiso, Shannan Rose of IL and Sharla (Kevin) Vanderjack of IL; daughter in law, Sheila Vanderjack; several grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Zigmund and Ann Janavich; son, Todd; son in law; Scott Rose; siblings, Ron “Ziggy” Janavich and Jane Smith. 

Carol was a graduate of Breman High School in Midlothian, IL.  She was a lifetime member of the South Lake County Conservation Club, member of Lugene Links Golf Course and former member and Women’s League participant at South Shore Golf Course.  Carol’s favorite activities were spending time with family, dancing, golfing and fishing, and she did so anytime she could.   

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, March 7, with Visitation Following until 4 PM, at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell.
