80, of Lowell, IN, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023. She is survived by her children, George (Natalie), Randy, Robert (Emily); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother, John (Barb) Caban. Preceded in death by her husband, George; children, Theresa and Dennis; parents, John and Wilda (Brown) Caban. A special appreciation to cousin, Diane Zamojski, who was a lifelong friend and provided loving care in Cathy’s final weeks. Cathy was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church where she played the piano and organ for church mass, Hispanic mass, and other special occasions. Cathy was a lover of music, she had a master’s degree from Valparaiso University in music therapy and played many instruments, piano being her favorite.

Visitation, Friday, September 22nd from 10AM-1230PM, Prayer Service at 1230PM all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E. Commercial Ave, Lowell, IN 46356. Funeral Mass, 1PM, at St. Edward Catholic Church, 216 S. Nichols St, Lowell, IN. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery.
