Charles “Chuck” Olthoff
70, of Grant Park, IL went to the arms of God on Friday, September 22, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife, Terri; 4 children, Jennifer (Anthony) Marcotte, Rebecca (Jason) Imig, Cynthia (Matthew) Sharpmack, Brian Thomas (Liza) Olthoff; grandchildren, Josiah, Isaac and Rachel Imig, Ava and Hunter Sharpmack, Joseph Marcotte, Lucas and Liam Olthoff; siblings, Larry (Joyce) Olthoff, Betty (Fred) Postma, Ron (Julie) Olthoff. Preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Shirley Olthoff. Chuck retired from Xerox after 40 years and spent 4 years working at Sunrise Greenhouse. He was a master gardener and woodworker. Chuck was a member of Crosspoint Church in Crown Point where he served as a baby whisperer in the nursery; also a member of the Day Lilly Society and Illiana Pond Society. Visitation, Wednesday, September 27th from 10AM-12PM, Funeral Service at 12PM all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E. Commercial Ave, Lowell IN. Burial will follow in Lowell Memorial Cemetery.
