Colin McLeod
55, of Lowell, IN, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 12, 2025. He is survived by his fiance’ of nearly 16 years, Sharon (Rattray) Sanders-Maher; twin sons, Connor and Christopher; adopted in heart, Randall and Kristen Maher, Raymond (Melanie) and Bradley (Jennifer) Sanders; and their children, Trey, John, Carolina and Sutton Sanders;
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stuart and Mary Valen McLeod.
Colin Worked for Anderson/Terminix pest solutions as a Pest control technician, he had also worked for Light House for the Blinded, True Green, and Carsons Indiana Furniture. Colin went to DuPage college to study photography and attended Kaplan collage to earn a diploma, with honors, as a Medical Assistant. Colin loved photography, getting involved with his adopted daughter Kristens, Special Olympics and other activities. He loved to garden and find natural plants to make natural ways to heal minor medical minor ailments. Colin was quirky, but witty, working hard to provide for his family, and was always there to give a helping hand.
Visitation, Thursday, February 20th from 4-8PM, Funeral Service, Friday,11AM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, in Lowell, with Private Burial in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Memorial Contributions may be given to a fund to be set up for the care of Kristen, through Chase Bank.
