Dale A. Appleton

80, of Demotte, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022.  He is survived by his wife, Sondra; children, David (Kathy) of IL and Susanna (Bob) Bortz of TN; grandchildren, Sarah and Brian Bortz, and a sister, Doris Appleton Ralph.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Gertrude and a brother, Glenn.    

Dale was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lowell.  He was baptized, confirmed and married at Griffith Lutheran Church and was a former member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Merrillville.    He was a Millwright with Mapes and then a Maintenance Supervisor with Anderson Company/Federal Moguel.

Visitation, Tuesday May 24 from 11-12, Concluding with Funeral Services at 12 PM

all at his Church, 631 W. Commercial Ave. in Lowell.  Burial will follow in Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Dunes Hospice or the Lowell Trinity Lutheran Food Pantry.
