69, of Shelby, IN, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 1, 2023.  He is survived by his children, Michael (Debra Graham), Nikki (Frank) Chaprandra, Kristi (Hank) Beeson, Shawna (Sir George Washington) Lurtz, Kelly and Joe (MiKayla Marcinek); grandchildren, Alora, Ryan, Lukas, Summer, Noah, Grace, Dakota, Josh, Kennedy, Chase, Carra, CJ, Lennon and 2 great grandchildren;

siblings, Dawn Kowalski, Denny, Danette Culver, Rose Baldwin;

mother of his children, Patricia Flatt and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Charlotte.

Dana was a loving father and grandfather.  He was a Teamster working for Globe/Rieter Industries for many years and in the construction field.  He loved the outdoors, was a history buff and a CUBS and Beatles fan. 

A Celebration of Life will be announced.  Private Cremation through Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell.
