Donald H. Brei

92, of Lowell, IN, passed away Friday, October 24, 2025.  He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dolores; children, Daniel (Jolayne) of Demotte and Donna (Jeffrey) Bong of KS; grandchildren, Krystal (Brady Black) Brei and Andrew Brei; Christopher (Mackenzie) Bong, Emily (Kyle) Crawford and Anthony Bong; great grandchildren, Lillian and Lochlan; brother, Wayne of Carol Stream and nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Ethel; and a brother Wilbur Jr.

Don was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lowell.  He graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering and was a retired Electronic Engineer from Northrop Engineering. He served in the US Army, was a member of Lowell’s American Legion Post #101 and played the piano and organ.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 1, from 930-11, Concluding with Funeral Services at 11 AM, all at his church, 631 W. Commercial Ave. in Lowell.  Graveside Services will be held Monday, November 3, at 12 PM, in Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin, IL.

Memorial Contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church, Lowell.
