Donald Metzcus

86, of Crown Point, IN, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024.  He is survived by his wife, Rita; children, Donald J. (Debra) of Whitestown, IN, David (Kimberly) and Jennifer Weil, all of Crown Point and Andrew (Yvonne) of VA; grandchildren, Danielle (Scott Benzing) Metzcus; Kyler, Riley, Hayden and Cambrie Metzcus; Mason Weil; Andrew T. and Lilly Metzcus; and a brother Anthony.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Doris Broderick and Laura Flannery.

Don served in the US Navy and was retired from Ford Motor Co, Chicago Heights, as a Tool and Die Maker.  He attended both St. Edward and St. Matthias Catholic Churches.  Don was known as a jack of all trades, tinkering with and fixing whatever came along. 

Visitation Friday December, 6 from 5-8 with Funeral Services and Military Honors on Saturday, 11 AM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell, IN.
