94, of Lowell, IN, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.  She is survived by her son, Dean (Joni) of Lowell; their children, Dave, Marc (Tiffanny); great grandchildren, Olivia and Alia; daughter in law, Lee Dewes, of Lowell; her children, Michael, Nicole. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; children Alice and Scott; parents, Arthur and Alice Jaenke.   

Doree was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Lowell and was a secretary for her family business Dewes Construction. She was a master baker. Doree was known for her boundless love, caring nature, sharp wit and sense of humor. In her younger years, she was a proud member of the “Gourmet Club” a close-knit group of friends who shared in culinary adventures, vacations and camaraderie over gin martinis. She cherished her family, finding joy spending time with loved ones creating memories.    

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 15th from 2-5PM at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell.  Private Services and Burial in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens will take place.
