91, of Lowell, IN, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024.  She is survived by her children, Ralph (Jeanne) of Hebron, Dale (Kathy) of Lowell and Todd (Cheryl) Midkiff, of Chesterton, Dorraine (David) Pierson of Aurora, IL; 20 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Elvis; sons, Lee and Lyle; daughters, Diane (Lynn) Martin, Cheryl (Robert) Gadberry; parents, Matthew and Ruth Theis; granddaughter in law, Kerri Midkiff.

Doris’ life was centered around her family. She was also member of Lowell Church of Christ. Visitation, Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 9AM-1PM, Funeral Service following at 1PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services 604 E. Commercial Ave, Lowell, IN.  Burial will follow in Orchard Grove Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or The Hope Center A Ministry of Lowell Church of Christ.
