Douglas Bateman
65, of Lowell, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023, after a valiant battle against cancer. He is survived by his wife, Brenda; siblings, George of Dyer; and Bob (Cyndi) of MO; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews, including Parker Douglas Banta. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ann; and a sister, Leanne Banta.
Doug was the owner of Mustard Seed Enterprises. He was a member of Lowell’s Trinity Lutheran Church; Navajo Saddle Club; Valparaiso Pistol and Rifle Club; and lifetime member of the NRA. He was a horse owner, enjoyed trail riding, travelling and camping. Doug was known for his willingness to lend a hand when needed.
Visitation, Friday November 3, from 3-8 at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Lowell. Funeral Services Saturday, 11 AM at his church, with Burial following in Lowell Memorial Cemetery.
