64, of Demotte, IN passed away Monday, September 30, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Michelle; children, Stepheney (Chad) Bayuk, Dillon (Jessica) Baker, Angela Baker, Elizabeth (Tony) Perez, Darryl Baker; 12 grandchildren; siblings, Janis (Gary), David, Sarah, Ben (Tammy); sibling in laws, Tony, Margo, Dan (Lisa), Duane; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and his dog, Otto. Preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Lillian Baker; parents in law, Barbara Somers and Anthony Panozzo; brother, Richard. Ed was enjoying his retirement after 40+ years of being a Sanitation Engineer. He was a member of the Cedar Lake Fish and Game Club and enjoyed running the fish pond at the Lake County Fair Conservation Building. Ed enjoyed fishing and boating in Wisconsin and spending time with his family and friends. He was known as a Grill Master, everybody LOVED his burgers. Cremation will precede a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
