92, of Lowell, IN, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.  She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Skip (Nancy) Kropp, Patrick Murphy, Joan Kropp, Mary Kay Koerner, Joyce (Mark) Ruchti; great nieces and nephews, Mike Ruchti, Peggy Koerner, Brad Kropp, Whitney Kropp and Greg Koerner; along with great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip; brother, Ed Kropp; sister, Marian Murphy; and great niece, Allison Murphy.

Evelyn was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church in Lowell and the Lake Village Grange.  She was a retired teacher with District 141 in IL and taught in the Chicago Archdiocese Catholic School System. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 7, from 2-5 at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, 11 AM at St. Edward Catholic Church with burial following in St. Edward Catholic Cemetery in Lowell.
