Evelyn (Worley) Wietbrock
91, of Lowell, IN passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Jeff) Blanchard of Lowell and Diana (Bill) Kaehler of WI; grandchildren, Brian and Doug Beier, Amy (Gary) Brewton, and Katie (Mike) Skapyak; great grandchildren, Kaylee Beier; Henry, William and John Brewton; Alyssa and Austin Skapyak; nieces, nephews and many extended family members.
She was Preceded in death by her husband, Clyde; brother, Darold Worley; and her parents, Harry and Lucille Worley.
Evelyn graduated Fenger High School, Roseland, IL in 1951 and McCormick School of Business in 1952. She married Clyde on April 18, 1953. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lowell, where she sang in the choir. She retired from Hitzeman-Roberts Insurance in 1993 and served 20 years as a Pink Lady Volunteer with St. Anthony Hospital. Evelyn was a member of Lowell’s Tri-Kappa and was a past member and President of Cedar Lake Business and Professional Women’s Club, where she was also the recipient of their Women of the Year award. Evelyn made her home at Cedar Creek Assisted Living for the last 10 years, where she considered the residents and staff her extended family.
Visitation, Friday November 1, from 3-7 at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E. Commercial Ave. in Lowell.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, 11 AM, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 631 W. Commercial Ave, Lowell.
Burial will follow in German Methodist Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to her Church.
