Frederick Erb

64, of Sumava Resorts, IN, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026.  He is survived by his wife, Sandra; sons, Michael (Stephanie) and Matthew (Corrine); his mother, Garnet;  step children, Jacque (Greg) Born and Joshua (Brent Summers) Frohock; grandchildren, Jayden, Jakob and Jackson Erb; Cilas, Auden and Ezra Erb; James and Sylvie Born; siblings, Susan (Bob Rusak) Erb, Gary (Carolyn), Patty (Chuck) Mahaffey.  He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; brother, Larry; and grandson, Sylas Born. 

Fred was a 1980 graduate of Lowell High School.  He went on to further his education at Ohio Technical in the Mechanics Trade.  He worked for Studer’s Corner for many years and most recently worked for the Town of Lowell Street Dept.  Fred was a jack of all trades who loved to tinker and fix things.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish.  Fred was a kind, honest, reliable, hardworking man who loved his job, life, and mostly his family. 

A Celebration of Life will be held and announced at a later date.  Private Cremation entrusted to Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell.
