77, of Bourbonnais, IL passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026. He was born on August 4, 1948 in Kankakee, Illinois to Hector R. and Doris J. Blanchette (Hoskins).

He leaves behind his former wife of 40 years Cindy Blanchette; children, Theresa Blanchette-Courter, Lonnie (Michelle) Blanchette; grandchildren, Savannah (Tyler) Barlow and Caden Courter, Tyler (Bri) Blanchette, Nate Cubit and Elaine Cubit; numerous great grandchildren; siblings, Linda (Gary) Gershke, Sherry (Mike) Mulligan, Brian (Theresa) Blanchette; nephew, Randy (Patricia) Martin, as well as several other beloved nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents; his brother, Len Blanchette; and his son Jason Blanchette.

Gary worked as a lineman and retired from IBEW Local 9.  He loved his family and always put them first in everything.  Gary was an avid outdoorsman who loved hiking, camping and fishing. He took pride in his physical fitness and was a competitive and recreational skydiver and racquetball player.

Gary Lonn will be honored during Visitation, Friday, January 30th from 10AM-12PM with Memorial Service at 12PM all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E. Commercial Ave, Lowell, IN 46356. Burial will follow at 2PM in All Saints Cemetery, 1839 IL-102, Bourbonnais, IL 60914.
