George Gray

71, of Lowell, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Jonathan (Emily) and Bethany; grandchildren, Elaina, Celia and Johnny; his mother, Rosann; sister, Susan (David) Selby; nephews, Tyler, Trent (Kate) and Kyle (Anouk) Shelton. Preceded in death by his father, Lewis. George was a member of The Open Door/Nazarene Church of Lowell. He was a town manager for many years for Lowell and surrounding towns and a county administrator in Illinois. George and Nancy enjoyed traveling together and birding. He was also an avid reader. Cremation will precede Visitation, Saturday, January 24th from 10AM-1PM with A Memorial Service at 1PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E. Commercial Ave, Lowell, IN 46356. For those unable to attend, the Memorial Service will be available on our Facebook page.  Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
