George Massi

81, of Lowell, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023.  He is survived by his wife, Cindy; sons, Max (Laurie) of Lowell and Mark (Dawn) of VA;

grandchildren, Alex, Emily, Ian, Madelyn and Brayden Lowe-Massi;

sister, Patricia Massi; and their pug, Betty Boop.  He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Julie.

George was born in Louisiana, was a graduate of TF North in Calumet City, a retired Pipefitter with Local #597 and served in the US Army.  He was an avid wood and metal worker and outdoors man.  He was a Bears and Purdue fan and will be remembered for his quick wit, sarcastic sense of humor and giving nature. 

Visitation Tuesday, October 31 from 11-2, concluding with Funeral Services at 2 PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell.  Burial will follow in Lowell Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
