Georgette Bruce

101, of Lowell, IN, passed away Monday, July 14, 2025.  She is survived by her husband, William; children, Sheila (Don) Johnson of Crossville, TN, Darrell of Indianapolis, Cindy (Reggie) Llewellyn of Lowell, Becky (Ron) Boomsma-Hoffman of Lowell, Mark of Bellflower, CA, and Rusty (Teresa) of Fishers, IN; 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her brothers, John, Carter and Harry Holth.

Georgette worked at the Lake County Courthouse, holding many different positions over the years.  She retired as a Cartographer with the Lake County Auditor.  She was a member of the Cedar Lake American Legion Auxiliary, and the Lowell VFW Auxiliary. She was past President of both and cooked for and planned many events for both.  She was an avid artist, quilter, seamstress and cook and for many of her years played golf, tennis and was an accomplished bowler.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 18 from 12-2, Concluding with Funeral Services at 2 PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell.  Burial will follow in Lowell Memorial Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be given to either the Lowell American Legion or Lowell VFW.
