69, of Morocco, IN, passed away Friday, December 16, 2022 at home with his family. 

He is survived by his wife, Sandy; children, Lisa Braun, Lori Kuhns and Melissa Janssen; grandchildren, Brianna, Burgandy, Jacob, Catrina, Sarah and Jimmy; Faith, Hunter, Emily, Grace and Bethany; David and Vinnie; great grandchildren, Addison, Rowyn and Cole; brother, Peter, nieces, nephews and extended family. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Ida; brothers, David John and Arnold.

Gerrit spent several years as Pastor with Gospel Lighthouse Church in Shelby.  He was a man of God with a great love for his family.  

Private Cremation will take place through Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Lowell, IN.
