85, of Lowell, IN passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Athalia; children, Yolanda (George) Atelevich, Elizabeth (Mike Kubacki) Rodriguez, Margarita (Gary) Patrick, Daniel Rodriguez; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Esther Peralez. Preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Eliza Rodriguez; siblings, Manuel, Carlos and Faustino Rodriguez, Ophelia Briones, Olivia Martinez. Isidro worked for Union Tank Car Co. in East Chicago for 30+ years and was also a barber. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed the outdoors, boxing, and playing tennis. Isidro was a handy man with carpentry and could fix anything.  He loved his family immensely; he was known for his kind, loving, generous, humble, caring ways and he had the best smile. He loved animals, he would go for walks and bring his family back feathers and other gifts from his adventures. Cremation will precede Visitation, Wednesday, March 6th from 3-7PM with Memorial Service following at 7PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E.
