Jack Duncan

74, of Schneider, IN passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on January 7, 2024. Jack is survived by his beloved daughter, Jacklyn (Thomas) Mullins of Crown Point, IN; his grandson and namesake, Duncan Mullins; his faithful lab, Happy; sister in law, Barbara Duncan. Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Junior and Jean Duncan; brother, Dick Duncan; sisters, Skippy (Jim) Loitz, Phyllis Schrum.

Jack devoted his life to his family and his work. Jack’s appreciation to hard work and detail allowed him to build a successful business. Jack was the owner of Jack’s or Better in Schneider for over 38 years. Over the years Jack’s customers became his friends and family. Friendships he valued and cherished. Jack was an avid Cubs, Bears and Indiana Hoosiers fan. Jack will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
