Jack Estill
93, of Schererville, IN and formerly of Shelby, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; son, Gene (Paula) of Munster, Taddy (David) Ferguson of Hobart, Debbie (Ron) Hovey of AZ; grandchildren, Steven and Hillary Hovey; step grandchildren, Kathryn Tanquary and Karyn Reed; great grandchildren, Cameron and Christian Reed; sister in law, Carol Estill; numerous nieces and nephews, including Sylvia Blair.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arvil and Sadie; twin brother, Gene; siblings, John, Roy, Robert, Betty Cox, Taddian Davis and Terri Deslauriers; and grandson, Eric Estill.
Jack was a Crane Operator with NIPSCO, retiring after 31 years. He serviced in the US Navy and was a Korean veteran. Lifetime member of the Crown Point American Legion Post 20. He was baptized and had attended Lowell Church of Christ. The family wishes to thank the staff at Brickyard Healthcare, Portage for their loving care.
Visitation, Tuesday, December 31 from 10-12, Concluding with Funeral Services at 12 PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell. Burial will follow in Orchard Grove Cemetery.
