James Burk

76, of Lowell, IN, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023.  He is survived by his significant other, Donna Hawney; children, Veronica Bragg of MI and Jeffrey (Susan) Burk of St. John; grandchildren, Kiylee, Payton, Dallas and Scout; Ella and Ethan; great grandchildren, Kaislee, Brixslee and Evaleiya.

He was preceded in death by son in law, Dale and a brother, Frank. 

Jim was a US Air Force Veteran, serving during Vietnam.  He retired from LTV Steel working in Management.  He was an avid golfer with a longtime membership at Pheasant Valley Golf Course. 

Cremation will precede Visitation Tuesday, February 14 from 4-6, Concluding with a Memorial Service at 6 PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Lowell. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Lowell VFW Post #6841.
