84, of Lowell, IN formerly of Monticello, IN passed away Tuesday, April 07, 2026. He is survived by his children, Betty Jo (James) Norris, Tommy Cameron, James (Ellen) Cameron, Jr.; his first wife, Judy; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife, Rita; parents, Arthur and Marie; sister, Eileen; daughter in law, Karen Cameron. James was a hardworking businessman who owned Big Timber Resort in Monticello. He enjoyed nice cars, watching the Chicago Bears and Cubs and had a love for domestic cats, affectionately known as "The Cat Man of Monticello". Cremation will precede a Graveside Service Thursday, April 16th at 11AM CST in Beverly Cemetery,  12000 S Kedzie Ave, Blue Island, IL 60406.
