James “Jimmy” P. Blevins

55, of Lake Village, IN passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024. He is survived by his children, Michelle (Neil) Borowy, James Blevins Jr.; grandchildren, Jackson and Madison Borowy; parents, James and Sally Blevins; brother, Chad (Gina) Blevins; nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Nick, Amanda, Kylie; great niece, Alice and many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his brother, Eric Blevins. Jimmy retired from the Iron Workers Local 395, where he was a past Vice President and executive board member and was an Air Force Veteran. He loved fishing with his best friend, Joe Cook and going to an annual White Sox game with his family. He also enjoyed golfing and going to live music events, his favorite band being The Beatles. Cremation will precede Visitation, Saturday, August 3rd from 3-7PM, with Military Honors at 3PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E.
