Jerry Betz

62, of Lake Village, IN, passed away Friday May 3, 2024.  He is survived by his wife, Julia; children, Joel (Nikki), Jeffrey (Sarah) and Josh (Katie); as well as, Mikey King, Brody Liston, Brian VanHam and Chris DeVona; grandchildren, Jensen, Owen, Axel, Gage, Oliver and Giavana; and, sister-in-law, Laura Betz. 

He was preceded in death by a son, Jerry J.; parents, Joel and Marjorie; and brother, Joel. 

Jerry was Dump Truck Driver with Ziese and Sons and retired from Local #142.  He was a 1979 graduate of Crown Point High School, an avid car enthusiast, and prided himself as a family man. 

Visitation, Monday May 13 from 3-7, Concluding with Funeral Services at 7 PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell.  Cremation will follow.
