Catherine Joan Cole

92, of Lowell, IN, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024.  She is survived by her children, Chris (Debbie), Gregory (Lisa), both of Lowell Cathy (Tim) of Frankfort, IN; 7 grandchildren including Lindsay (Todd) Norton and Laurin Cole; numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Seitz, Debbie Hale and Rita Sterns; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard “Dick” and son Rick.

Joan was a member of Lowell’s St. Edward Catholic Church, Garden Club and two Doll Clubs.  She was a retired School Teacher with Jane Ball Elementary School in Cedar Lake and had been active with ISTA.

Visitation Wednesday, June 12 from 4-7, Concluding with Memorial Services at 7 PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell. Private Burial of Cremated Remains will take place in German Methodist Cemetery.

Contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
