85, of Lowell, IN passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024. She is survived by her children, Jackie (Jay) Smith, John Jr. (Janet), Joe (Teresa) James Michael (Jennifer); grandchildren, Kevin, Stephen, Miranda, Conor, Samantha; and many special friends and family. Preceded in death by her husband, John Sr.; son, James Martin; granddaughter, Krista Smith. Joan was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church and a former member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church. She was a loving and devoted mother and was kind to everyone she met. Thank you to the staff of Cedar Creek Health Campus and Dunes Hospice, who provided her with exceptional care. Visitation, Monday, February 19th from 10-11AM, Memorial Mass, 11AM, all at St. Edward Catholic Church, 216 S. Nichols St. Lowell, IN 46356.
