83, of Lowell, IN passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024.  He is survived by his wife, Nedra; children, Patrick (Julie) of Lake Village, Gayla (Fred) Sickman of Homewood, step daughters, Kimbra Johnson of Homewood and Donna Towne of AZ; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sister, Rosie Whitnel of MO and nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his siblings, J.D., Bonnie Schwiesow and an infant brother. 

Joe was a Navy Veteran and member of the American Legion in Cedar Lake.  A member of Lowell Church of Christ and brother with Lowell’s Colfax Masonic Blue Lodge.  He had been a Mac Tool distributor, owner of Joe’s Video To Go in Kentland and spent the majority of his career as a Mechanic with Ford Dealerships in the area. 

Visitation Monday, July 1 from 10-1, Concluding with Masonic and Funeral Services At 1 PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell. Burial of Cremated Remains in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.

Memorial Contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
