John Napierkowski

92, of Lake Village, IN, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024. He is survived by his daughter, Ann (Greg) Bartkiewicz; grandsons, Brad & Randy (Hannah); great grandson, Shiloh; sisters in law, Barbara (Artie) Olejniczak, Terry Marczak and Mary Lou (Daniel) Greger.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cecelia; 2 sisters and his parents.

John was a member of St. Augusta Catholic Church in Lake Village.  He had worked in the maintenance department for Drexel Bank and later worked as a Security Guard for South Shore Hospital.  John enjoyed writing poetry and painting.

Visitation, Monday December 30, from 10-11, Concluding with Funeral Mass at 11 AM, all at his church, 3228 W. St. Rd. 10. 

Burial will follow in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 801 Michigan City Rd, Calumet City, IL, at 1 PM.
