John Shimkus

89, of Lowell, IN, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026.  He is survived by his wife, Jeri; son, Justin; and his grandsons, Braeden and Cain.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Catherine; and his siblings, Annette, Sylivia and Kenny. 

John was a retired from Cargill as a Material Handler.  In his retirement, he thoroughly enjoyed going out junking and visiting flea markets.

Private Cremation will be through Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell, IN.
