John “Pete” McMahan

87, of Lake Village, IN, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025.  He is survived by his children, Connie (Wyatt) Christenson of Lake Village, Robert (Cherri) of Fair Oaks, and Joe (Karen) of Demotte; grandchildren, Mitchell, Kira, Johnny and Mallory; great grandchildren, Cortlyn, Keaton, Hayden, Prestyn, Bryan, Lain and Gatlyn; sister, Tylene (Bill) Clark of KY; and nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue, on October 5th; parents, John and Eula; siblings, Flossie, Christine, Gen and Margaret

Pete was a retired General Manager of Ace All Waste.  He was a member of South Lake County Conservation Club and enjoyed spending his free time with family and friends. 

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, October 17, at 1130 AM in Lake Village Cemetery
