37, of Crown Point, IN, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 19, 2026.  He is survived by his mother, Sharon; siblings, Robert (Mayra), Jessica and Adam; nephews, Gabriel and Lorenzo; grandparents, Vera and John Lucas.  He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick; and grandfather, Ronald and Lois Fucela;

Joseph enjoyed the subjects of history and philosophy.  He had a knack and love for computers, working in I.T.  He adored his nephews and spending time with them and his family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26 from 10-12, Concluding with Funeral Services at 12 PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell.  Burial will follow in Lowell Memorial Gardens.
