Joseph Golubic
97, of Lowell, IN passed away Thursday, May 28, 2026. He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Terri (Tim) Bozak, Angie (George) Denton, Becky (Ed) Smith, Tim (Angie) Golubic, Susan Golubic, Matt Starr, Mark (Sue) Starr, Ruth Hunt; 24 great, 22 great great and 4 great great great nieces and nephews that he was very proud of. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marko and Anna Golubic; siblings, Mary Golubic, Terese Starr, Sister Theodora Golubic, Mark Golubic, Olga Novosel, Sister Antonia Golubic. Joe was born in Whiting, IN and lived in East Chicago and then in Lowell, IN. He served in the US Army from 1951-1954 during the Korean Conflict stationed in Germany. He retired from the East Chicago Sanitation Dept as a Heavy Equipment Driver. Joe had been residing in Lowell Healthcare and the family would like to give them a special thank you for their care. Cremation will precede Visitation, Saturday, June 20th from 10AM-11AM, Memorial Service following at 11AM all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E. Commercial Ave, Lowell, IN 46356.
