91, of Lowell, IN passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023.

Beloved husband for 57 years to the late Mary Ellen Kunkel. Loving father of Karen (late Dan) Zenner, Kathleen Treichel, Matthew (Renee) Kunkel and the late Joseph Kunkel Jr and the late Susan Kunkel. Proud grandfather of 11; Great-grandfather of 4. Dear brother of Mary Lou Holley.

Joseph was a Retired electrician from IBEW 134 and Illinois Bell.  He was a veteran of the Korean War.

Visitation Friday, Dec. 29th at 10:00 AM- 11:15 AM followed by Funeral Mass at 11:30 A.M. at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 9300 W 167th St., Orland Hills, IL 60487, with Private Interment.
