Larence Darrel Korth
104, of Valparaiso, IN passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024. He is survived by his children, Lana Kaye Wheatley and Darrel (Carol) Korth; grandchildren, Melissa Schutkovske, Jason (Darla) Korth, Jeffrey Wheatley, Melanie (Mike) McCarthy; great grandchildren, Alec and Nicholas Schutkovske, Joseph Woynaroski, Liam and Noah McCarthy. Preceded in death by his wife, Clarella Korth; parents, Alfred and Bertha Korth; brothers, Donald and Eugene Korth; son in law, Jim Wheatley; grandson in law, David Schutkovske. Darrel was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Roselawn his entire life. He was very involved with his kids and grandkids, and loved fishing even into his 100s, sports, especially baseball and his beloved Cubs, were his passion. Darrel also installed the first electric pole in Jasper County, by hand. Visitation, Friday, June 28, 2024 from 3-5PM with Funeral Service Saturday, 10AM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E. Commercial Ave, Lowell, IN 46356.
