47, of Lowell, IN, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020. She is survived by her husband, James; son, Alexander (Lauren) Brugh; grandsons, Dominic and Vincent; siblings, Steve (Susan) Strong, Sabrina Strong, Lewis (Courtney) Brugh; mother in law, Paulette Cox; her other half of the “Grandma Squad”, Shawn; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father, John Strong. Laura was “Momma” to hundreds of Lowell Students. She was a member of Bethel Church in Cedar Lake and taught at Lowell High School for 12 years. Visitation, Sunday, September 13th from 11AM-7PM at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E. Commercial Ave, Lowell. Funeral Service, Monday, 11AM, at Bethel Church, 13620 Wicker Ave, Cedar Lake, IN 46303. Burial will follow in Lowell Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Mark Culton officiating.
