Lucy Blakeslee

97, of Lowell, IN and formerly Chicago, IL, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023.  She is survived by her daughters, Diane (John) Crabb of Lowell and Linda Lou Grahovac of St. John; step daughter, Judy Blakeslee; grandchildren, Andrew and Denise Becker; great grandchildren, Kylie Becker; Jacklyn DeYoung and Peter Ivanov, Jr. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack and 14 siblings. 

Lucy retired from the Chicago School System as a cafeteria worker.  She was a member of the Gold Star Post Women’s Auxillary and made many lap blankets for veterans. 

Visitation, Monday, July 24 from 10-12, Concluding with Funeral Services at 12 PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lowell.  Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, Oak Lawn, IL.
