Marcia L. Meltzer

84, of Lake Village, IN, passed away on Saturday May 11, 2024 at Majestic Care/St. Anthony Nursing Home.  She is survived by her daughter, Roberta (Bernie) Scheidt of Lake Village; daughter in law, Debbie of FL; grandchildren, Amber Keene, Aimee Martin, Aly (Adam Nelson) Dugan; Rich (Lara Glade), Reid (Roxanne) and Ryan (Libby) Scheidt; great grandchildren, Ryan and Grayson; Landon and Liam; Dallas, Blakeleigh, Riggins, River, and Reese; siblings, Leta Speer of Crown Point, and Vergie Gibson Laggos of Morocco; numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, August “Augie”; son, Roger; and sisters, Elizabeth Jackman and Ina Tedford.

Marcia was the oldest living member of the Lake Village Presbyterian Church where she was very involved and was active with the Presbyterian Women.  She had been involved with TOPS and had also worked for the Lake Village Library, at all three locations.  Her family came first and she relished in taking care of them. 

Visitation, May 24 from 12-2, Concluding with Funeral Services at 2 PM, all at her church.  Burial will follow in Lake Village Cemetery. 

Memorial Contributions may be given to her Church.
