Martha Wagner Obituary

Martha Ann Catlin Wagner

66 of Glen Allen, VA (formerly of Indiana) passed away February 25, 2023. Life partner of Gerald L Wagner; Loving mother of Megan (Josh Brugger) Wagner; Margo Wagner; Myia Wagner; Doting grandmother of Eloise Brugger; Emerson Brugger; Elliot Brugger; Onyx Wagner Neubig; Opal Wagner; Cotton Davis; Coyote Davis. Dear sister to Janet Catlin Medders, and half-sister of Jessica Sanford. She is preceded in death by her father, Herschel Catlin; mother, Dorris Williamson Catlin; brother, Dennis Paul “Duke” Catlin; and half-brother, Thomas Martin. Ann was a friend, mentor, and mother to all who knew her. Food was her love language and cooking was her passion. There was always room for one more person at her table. A table where she was eager to listen and help anyone who came to her with their strife. And where she was eager to celebrate their successes. She was loving, generous, funny, and smart. Jeopardy and crossword puzzles stood no chance against her. She spent most of her life as a homemaker to her children and husband, and as a full-time granny nanny to her grandchildren. She poured herself into supporting her family to help make them strong, smart, and independent. The amount of love and support she gave to those close to her was immeasurable and priceless. In honor of her, we will strive to carry on her kindness and generosity. When we are more fortunate than others, we will build a longer table and not a higher fence.

Please come celebrate her life and her legacy with us. Visitation, July 22 from 10 AM to 12 PM; Memorial Service following at 12 PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home and Cremation Services , 604 East Commercial Ave., Lowell, IN.
